Prenatal Classes

This 6 week series (12 hrs total) will explore

• anatomy and physiology of the third trimester
• Stages of labour (with first hand experience on what will happen so you know exactly what to expect)
• Role and guidance for the labour support person ( what to do, when to do it, and how to do it right!)
• both natural coping measures, AND extensive information on pain relief options in hospital
• medical interventions, how to navigate them, and how to decide if they are required
• first hand information on c-section, neonatal intensive care unit stays and how to cope when things don't go as planned
• how to create a flexible birth plan that suits your unique family needs
• our exclusive breastfeeding class run by an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
• included is practical information like "how do I apply for EI"

* This class is for all women and their partners and/or support person. Our mission is to provide mothers, fathers, infants & families the non-biased and evidence-based information they need to be empowered and educated before, during and following the birth of their babies. We want to help you make the informed choices that suit YOUR family’s unique and individual needs, from home birth, to hospital birth; from natural methods of pain relief to other pharmaceutical methods such as epidurals.

*Included is a workbook and resources to take home with you to help you through the journey to parenthood, whether it’s your first time, or your tenth!
